Dana White säger att han nästan känner sig tvungen att få till en supermatch mellan UFC:s superstjärna Conor McGregor och obesegrade boxaren Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
Dana White uppgav under den förra månaden att han tror att en superfight mellan Conor McGregor (21-3) och Floyd Mayweather, Jr (49-0 boxning) blir av. Detta trots att han tidigare ställt sig mycket kritisk till matchen.

Nu uppger UFC-presidenten i ett nyligt avsnitt av The Herd på Fox Sports att han tänker tillåta supermatchen – som ett tack till McGregor, som alltid ställt upp för organisationen:
“This kid steps up. He’ll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. A lot of people say it, very few really mean it.”
“Conor McGregor, I call him the unicorn. I’ve never dealt with a kid like this. So for him to have this kind of opportunity, to make this kind of money, this type of a fight that people are so interested in worldwide, I almost feel like I have to make it.”
”This is gonna be a one-and-done”
Men enligt UFC-presidenten bör de andra slagskämparna inom organisationen inte få några idéer för sig – det är endast McGregor som tillåts gå en match i boxning. Det säger White i en nylig intervju med Russillo and Kanell.
“No, I don’t like the idea of it opening up a bunch of different crossover fights,” säger White. “My guys saying they want to fight that guy and other boxers saying they want to fight this guy, no. This is gonna be a one-and-done.”
