”If he fights like he fought last time, he will lose again, he will lose bad. Conor tried to bully Nate. That strategy worked at 145, but it’s not going to work at 170.
I would tell him that he has to understand that this guy is dangerous. The worst thing that can happen to you in a fight is to be surprised. He got surprised and that confusion led to fatigue and the beginning of the end.”
”Conor McGregor does not have a cardio problem. The man is a freakishly athletic and gifted human being. He just has a composure issue.
Nate Diaz got hit with bombs and didn’t panic one bit. Why? He’s surrounded by great, world class five-round fighters. There’s a composure and a maturity to a fighter that has been put in five-round wars over and over again.”
”It looked like to me that he hadn’t been in bad positions often enough. He didn’t react in the way that a guy would react if he’s been there many, many times.
Conor hit Nate with a crazy overhand left, on the button. And Nate stayed calm. You could show him hell and for him it’s just another Saturday night.”
”I think Conor can knock out Nate with a spinning kick. And his overhand left kan knock out any man. If I was coaching Conor I would tell him just to counter, he has more speed and more precision.
Nate needs to not get hit with anymore overhands. And he needs not to get countered. His jab is his biggest liability, he needs to polish that up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets knocked out with an overhand left, from a lazy jab.
Conor needs to knock him out, Nate needs to take it to the later rounds. This is going to be a way harder fight than the first one. But I think Nate is going to come out on top one way or the other.”
