Tidigare i veckan stod det klart att den topprankade UFC-stjärnan Israel Adesanya kommer att göra sin efterlängtade comeback på UFC 305. Adesanya kommer att ta sig an den nuvarande UFC-mästaren i mellanvikt Dricus du Plessis i galans huvudmatch.

Adesanya har inte gått match sedan han förlorade titeln mot amerikanen Sean Strickland på UFC 293 i september förra året. Dricus du Plessis kommer senast från en vinst mot Strickland på UFC 297 tidigare i år. Innan dess besegrade sydafrikanen UFC-veteranen Robert Whittaker via TKO.

De topprankade flugviktarna Steve Erceg och Kai Kara-France kommer också att drabba samman på UFC 305 i Perth, Australien. UFC-stjärnan Dan Hooker har också uttryckt att han vill gå match på galan, det är dock ännu oklart vem han kommer att möta. Se matchkortet och reaktionerna nedan!

The UFC did the right thing in making du Plessis vs Adesanya rather than du Plessis vs Strickland II.

This is the better style matchup, and should be a more exciting fight.

The winner will likely rematch Strickland, who will be octagon-side in Perth.
