Den tidigare interim-mästaren i lättvikt Tony Ferguson förlorade på UFC 291 i Salt Lake City, Utah. Ferguson tog sig an UFC-veteranen Bobby Green på den stjärnspäckade galans huvudkort.
Ferguson stod för en bra första rond, men Green letade sig tillbaka in i matchen i den andra ronden. Green var betydligt snabbare än den 39-åriga UFC-stjärnan. I den tredje ronden lyckades Green att avsluta Ferguson via submission. Green ströp Ferguson medvetslös med en arm-triangle choke med endast sex sekunder kvar av matchen.
