Carla Esparza är åter igen UFC-mästare i stråvikt då hon besegrar Rose Namajunas under helgens UFC 274!
Titelmatchen agerade delad huvudmatch och var en returmatch från december 2014 då Esparza avslutade Namajunas via submission. Även det mötet var en titelmatch och skrev in Esparza i historien som UFC:s första stråviktsmästare. När hon i helgen återvände till tronen så var det dock inte utan kontrovers.

Titelmatchen var extremt händelsefattig och kritiserades av både publik och kommentatorer under de tjugofem minuterna. När alla fem ronder hade gått så utnämndes Esparza till vinnare via delat domslut med siffrorna 47–48, 49–46, 48–47. Även Esparzas segerintervju kom att bombaderas med burop från publiken som reagerade mycket negativt på titelmatchen.
