Igår kväll stod det klart att den tidigare UFC-titelutmanaren Jorge Masvidal kommer att göra en comeback i kampsportsvärlden. Den 39-åriga UFC-veteranen kommer att ta sig an den tidigare UFC-stjärnan Nate Diaz i en boxningsmatch. Matchen kommer att äga rum den 1 juni i Inglewood, Kalifornien. Den bestämda viktgränsen ligger på 79 kilo. Matchen kommer att sändas via PPV för ett kostnad av 49,99 dollar.
Jorge Masvidal valde att lämna den världsledande MMA-organisationen efter förlusten mot UFC-veteranen Gilbert Burns på UFC 287 förra året. 39-åringen blev dominerad av brasilianaren i tre ronder och förlorade till slut via enhälligt domslut. Innan matchen mot Burns förlorade ”Gamebred” mot sin tidigare lagkamrat Colby Covington.
