Att den hawaiianske fightern Max Holloway är missnöjd med läget han för tillfället befinner sig i fick MMA Fighting erfara under onsdagen. Medan Conor McGregor är aktuell för lättviktstiteln och José Aldo planerar sitt uttåg ur UFC, står Holloway på sidan och tittar på.
I intervjun förklarade Holloway hur det ligger till.
The whole thing with Aldo and everybody thinking he’s the best for 10 years. That he’s unbeaten and the untouchable champ, and all that. Then the whole thing with Conor came out, and he got knocked out, everybody getting pissed off why he didn’t get a rematch after 13 seconds. These guys need to educate themselves in martial arts. How many times have Aldo pulled out of a main event?
Holloway anser inte att Aldo förtjänar en titelchans.
People say 13 seconds.. who the fuck wants to see the rematch after 13 seconds? I sure as hell don’t want to see it.
Det står klart för honom att han borde vara näst på tur.
The guy with the most featherweight division, it’s me again. The guy with the longest winning streak in the division, is me once again. These guys keep telling me I need to fight somebody else. Who the hell is next? That’s what I’ve been doing, and I’ve been knocking them down and everybody wants to see the next guy, this and that. And what do I do?
