Daniel Cormier åkte på en riktigt tuff förlust i lördags när han tappade bältet mot den store rivalen Jon Jones efter en brutal knockout i huvudmatchen på UFC 214.
Efter den brutala knockouten syntes en bestört Cormier förvirrad – något som påvisades i intervjun med Joe Rogan direkt efter matchen, vilket ledde till att UFC-kommentatorn bad om ursäkt till Cormier efter galan.

UFC-presidenten Dana White förklarar situationen under presskonferensen efter galan:
”He was telling me that the fight was stopped prematurely, and he was freaking out on the referee (Big John McCarthy). The reality is that Cormier was out of it, and didn’t really know what had happened until he saw it on the replay,” säger White.
”He was saying it was stopped prematurely, but it could’ve been stopped four or five punches sooner than it was. So i was just trying to get him to calm down and relax. And then he kept saying ’Why is Dana Yelling at me’, and then when he saw it on the replay, that was when he found out that he had gotten knocked out,” säger White.
