Nu står det dock klart att Thompson vs. Till fortfarande kommer bli av. ”Wonderboys” team har nått en överenskommelse med UFC och bägge fighters stirrade alldeles nyss ner varandra på den ceremoniella invägningen.

Thompson vs. Till is on. Here are the terms of the deal, per sources:
– Till must forfeit 30% of his purse and bonuses to Thompson.
– Till can’t weigh more than 188 lbs tomorrow.
– Weigh in is at 1 pm tomorrow before departing to arena.

If Till misses weight, another negotiation will have to happen but they will cross that bridge when they get there. News of the fight being finalized was first reported by @MMAjunkieJohn.

In the midst of the negotiation I was told one plan was no higher than 185 for Till, so this seems like somewhat of a win for the Scouser. FWIW, a source told me Till did in fact have a family emergency which affected his cut. Till hasn’t commented yet on today’s events.
