Dana White och Oscar De La Hoya har haft en hel del heta meningsutbyten under den senaste tiden.
Efter att White i samband med Chuck Liddells kontroversiella comeback till buren bland annat kallat boxningslegendaren för ”pundare” svarade De La Hoya med att be White ”hålla käften och försöka rädda sitt eget företag”.

Nu verkar De La Hoya också vara redo att göra upp med White – i boxningsringen. Under ett nyligt avsnitt av The Luke Thomas show utmanar han UFC-bossen till en trerondersmatch i maj.

“Let’s get in the ring. Let’s get in the ring, three rounds. Let’s do this. Let’s do this under Canelo Alvarez, Cinco de Mayo. I’ll even give you five months so you can get off the juice, and then we can get in great shape and then we go three rounds. Look, I’m going to give you what, a 50 pound advantage? It’s ok. I can take you on. Let’s do it,” säger De La Hoya.
“Oh wait he’s never laced up a glove in his life. I’m sorry, I forgot about that,” fortsätter han.
De La Hoya hade en riktigt fin boxningskarriär, och gick i pension 2008 med ett record på 39-6, varav 30 vinster via knockout. White har å sin sida aldrig gått någon professionell match av något slag.
