Stipe Miocic (14-2) kommer att utmana om tungviktsbältet mot Fabricio Werdum (20-5-1) på UFC 198 och han tänker inte gå hem tomhänt.
Miocic förklarar att han har jobbat för hårt för att inte gå hem med bältet.

“I’ve worked too hard to get where I’m at – I want that belt and I’m going to get that belt,”berättade Miocic för MMAjunkie. “I’m not going home alone; that belt is coming home with me. I want that belt and I’m coming home with it.”
Miocic berättar att han förväntar sig att Werdum kommer ha väldigt mycket fans i arenan och att alla kommer att vara emot honom, men det är inget som stör honom.
“I did what I did and stepped up and I had a good feeling about it that they weren’t going to let me down,” sa Miocic. “It’s going to be crazy. They’ll be yelling at me, chanting their little chant, which is fine. That’s what they do. I’m not bitter about it. Once I get in the cage they can’t do anything about it.”
Miocic berättar att han kommer att ha en bra game plan i matchen mot Werdum. Han förklarar också att Werdums striking har utvecklats och blivit bättre, men Miocic noterar även att hans egna striking har blivit bättre.
“I’m just going to do what I always do and work on what I need to get better at,” sa Miocic. “I’ll come up with a good game plan and all that stuff. It’s just about staying focused. I love what I do and I just need to go in there focused and compete.
“He’s got a lot better now. His ground game is real good, he’s a black belt, phenomenal, and his stand up has got a lot better. But so has mine. That’s why I’m going to get better every day when I’m training.”
