”They don’t have a real understanding when it comes to the boxing community. None of the MMA-fighters are boxing fans. None of them have seen fights, they have not seen they fights I have seen, they don’t know the trainers, how they talk, the lingo – they have nothing. McGregor is going down that road. Why? Because my brother beat the fuck out of him. My brother beat the fuck out of him on 13 days fucking notice. McGregor is a counterpuncher and my brother really doesn’t understand that to the fullest. I don’t want to say he doesn’t understand, he does understand, but”…
“I was not in the corner and I couldn’t say anything to make him win the fight, like “This guy is a counterpuncher don’t throw any punches at him”. If I would have been in the corner, I think he would have heard what I was saying and say “Oh, oh I’m stupid”. If I was in the fight, there are certain dos and don’ts, he just slipped a little bit in the first round, but he still won the fight, it didn’t cost him the fight. If I could chose either guy who I would have liked to be after the fight, win or lose, money or not, I would not chose to be McGregor. I would not want to live with myself for the rest of my life knowing that I went out there and that’s how it went”.
“My brother yes he took a shot and went down, I don’t think he was hurt. If someone, when you are standing in a certain way, if someone times a punch right, you can’t take a step back, and when you get hit and it turns you all the way around you don’t want to turn back in to more punches, you sit your fucking ass on the ground, but you know that is a death sentence for anyone who doesn’t work as hard or doesn’t have he understanding of where they are on the ground on the bottom. If I get hit I am going to sit on my ass and if you come in and attack me, and you fuck up, I am going to put you in a fucking choke”. That’s what McGregor did, when he did land the punches, he didn’t jump in”.
“You don’t know what you are talking about but you are talking. If anybody should talk it should be me. I know some things. I have already thought way ahead of all this shit. I am pointing the finger and I am saying certain things about how people do stuff and how they don’t do it the way I like them to do it, but I am not just fucking joking. I am explaining things and my logic I undeniable. Where have you ever come with some logic? You don’t, you don’t have it. You believe in some sort of higher power that is going to give you power, to do your job, you are pumping yourself up. I can see right through that shit. Give me a break. I doubt it”.
