Kailin Curran (3-1) ska ta sig an Alex Chambers (4-2) i helgens UFC. Det är hennes andra match i UFC och i sin första match mötte hon Paige VanZant (5-1) där VanZant besegrade Curran via TKO i tredje ronden.
Curran tycker att VanZant förtjänar Reebokavtalet och att hon representerar UFC på ett bra sätt.

“It makes me wonder if I won, ‘Would that have been me?’” berättade Curran för MMAjunkie. “But then again, it’s like I have my own path, and everything happens for a reason. Good on her and good for her. She got the Reebok sponsorhip, and that’s good for her.”
“I think she’s a good representative, and I think a lot of the girls are wondering, ‘How did she get the sponsorship?’ But everyone has their different paths, and this is mine, so I’m just worried about what I have to do.”
Curran tycker att hennes match mot VanZant var en bra match och hon känner att hon gav allting i matchen.
“It was a good fight, and I feel like getting a ‘Fight of the Night’ was obviously a bonus,” sa Curran. “I king of proved to myself that I did have a good fight and I gave all I had.”
Curran vill självklart kamma hem sin första vinst i UFC på lördag och hoppas på en lyckad karriär i UFC.
“I got to the UFC, but I don’t want to just be another statistic,” sa Curran . “I want to make it. I want to succeed in the UFC and succeed in my division.”
“I really would love to get a win just to cement my name in the UFC and kind of prove to myself that you worked so hard, you’ve come this far. I just really want to win.”
