John Lineker (26-7) kommer ta sig an Cody Garbrandt (7-0) på UFC Fight Night 83 och hoppas att Garbrandt kan backa upp sitt påstående om att hålla matchen stående.
Garbrandt berättade nyligen att han tänker hålla matchen stående mot Lineker och är säker på att han kommer besegra Lineker via KO.
“When I knock him out – when I finish John Lineker – people are going to know I’m legit,” sa Garbrandt. “In that fight, I get the opportunity to prove the hype is real, and that’s what I’m going to do.”
Lineker svarade på kommentaren från Garbrandt med att han hoppas att Garbrandt kan backa upp sitt påstående.
“Hey Cody, I saw you out there ranting on how you are going to knock me out,” berättade Lineker för MMAjunkie. “Well, even parrots can talk. Let’s hope you can back that up. Come fight night, don’t run away!”
