Demetrious Johnson (22-2-1) kommer försvara sitt flugviktsbälte mot John Dodson (17-6) på UFC 191. Johnsons ultimata mål är att ha rekord för flest lyckade titelförsvar.
Johnson har haft sex stycken lyckade titelförsvar och siktar på elva stycken, då rekorded som innehavs av Anderson Silva (33-6-0-1) ligger på tio just nu.

”Just reaching that ultimate goal, which is having the most successful title defenses in UFC history — for the men’s division — because Ronda’s [Rousey] is on a tear right now so I don’t want to jump in her pond,”sa Johnson. ”That goal is 10, well 11, obviously the record right now is 10 [Anderson Silva] and I’m at six right now so I’ve got five more to go and then I’ll keep on racking them up.”
Johnson tycker att han själv har utvecklats mycket mer än Dodson på grund av att Johnson har varit mer aktiv sen de båda möttes för första gången.
”I look at the previous fight and I look at this one as a brand new fight,” sa Johnson. ”Obviously, Dodson’s had three fights since we fought; I’ve had the five title defenses and I think he’s improved a little bit and I’ve improved way more than he has because I’ve been so active.”
Johnson tycker att han har bevisat i sina fyra senaste titelförsvar att han bara behöver en sekund för att avsluta en match.
”I’ve shown in my previous four title defenses that all I need is one second to get the job done and we’re training extremely hard and I’m focused to go out there and finish off where I left off last time when we fought,”sa Johnson. ”Dodson is a very delusional man. We like to call that in Seattle, Washington a mental midget; somebody who has to run their mouth to make them feel entitled to something and get himself riled up.
