Efter Alexander ”The Mauler” Gustafsson’s (16-4) fina insats mot Daniel ”DC” Cormier (17-1) under UFC 192 där vår svenska guldklimp ännu en gång missade chansen att ta hem UFC-guld till Sverige efter att ha förlorat ett jämnt delat domslut. UFC’s kommunikationschef Dave Sholler berättar i detalj hur de anställda gav honom stående ovationer bakom scenerna för sin tuffa kamp mot Cormier.

“This guy has been in some of the best title fights not only in light heavyweight history, but in UFC history,” sa UFC’s kommunikationschef Dave Sholler efter UFC 192. “He’s one of the toughest, grittiest fighters we have on the roster. It was really an emotional moment backstage, because he comes backstage to the medical tent, gets looked at by the doctors, and everyone backstage from service staff to security guards gave him a standing ovation. That’s what he means to this company.”
