Andrei Arlovski (25-10-1) besegrade Frank Mir (18-10) via enhälligt domslut, men många hade Mir som vinnare, inklusive Dana White.
White medger att matchen inte utspelade sig som han trodde. White hade förväntat sig en match mer like Arlovski-Browne.

“It wasn’t what I expected it to be, but I actually had Mir winning that fight,” sa White. “I was expecting that fight to look more like Travis Browne and Arlovski than the fight that it was. These guys are two big, hard-hitting heavyweights and they went three rounds.”
Mir får nu ställa sig bak i kön och jobba sig upp i rankingen om han ska kunna utmana om titeln igen.
“Mir lost tonight,” sa White.“So we won’t be talking about him as far as the title. Arlovski beat him tonight.”
De flesta rankade tungviktare har matcher inbokade och på frågan om vem som Arlovski ska möta härnäst, svarade White att han inte vet.
“I don’t know, we’ll see,” sa White. “He obviously has had some big wins since coming back to the UFC, another one tonight especially with Mir coming off that big knockout over (Todd) Duffee. Tonight was a good night for him and we’ll see what’s next.”
