Conor McGregor försökte ändra Nate Diaz-returmatchen till lättvikt i sista minuten

UFC:s fjäderviktsmästare Conor McGregor har gjort sig känd för sitt självförtroende, och hur han förutspått avsluten i sina matcher. Dock fick han senast äta upp sina ord och Bougamza känner själv att han inte vill göra likadant.

Dana White säger att Conor McGregor ville ha returmatchen mot Nate Diaz i weltervikt men ”Notorious” manager håller inte med på den punkten.

Returmatchen mellan Conor McGregor (19-3) och Nate Diaz (19-10) ska bli i weltervikt och Dana White säger att McGregor hela tiden ville ha matchen i den viktklassen men managern Audie Attar säger till MMAFighting.com att ”Notorious” efter att ha pratat med tränaren John Kavanagh försökte få matchen i lättvikt i sista minuten.

”At the 11th hour, before we signed the bout agreement, [McGregor] said, ’Look, I’m hearing everybody. If everybody wants to do 155, fine. Let’s do 155.’ The contract was already written at 170. And so, in Conor’s defense, he really didn’t give two sh*ts. He really wanted it at 170, because he wanted to prove he could beat him there.”

“Conor is his own CEO, but intelligently he listens to the people around him and then makes his own final decision. He was trying to accommodate and listen to everybody and be a team player to make this happen.”
