De officiella lönerna från helgens UFC 187 är nu ute och det är inte kortets två mästare som drog in mest pengar.
UFC släpper regelbundet vad de betalat ut till sina fighters efter en gala och även om sannolikt inte alla bonusar är inkluderade så ger de ändå en bra bild av vilka atleter som UFC prioriterar mest samt vilka som har bäst managers. Efter UFC 187 är det två män som tjänat i särklass mest; mellanviktsmästaren Chris Weidman (13-0) samt utmanaren till titeln i lätt tungvikt Anthony ”Rumble” Johnson (19-5) som båda kammade hem 500 000 USD för sitt deltagande. Intressant är att Weidman fick det på grund av att han vann sin match medan Johnson förlorade men ändå fick den stora summan. Daniel ”DC” Cormier (16-1) som besegrade Johnson fick exempelvis 180 000 USD, före sin ”performance of the night”-bonus. Nedan följer samtliga officiella löner från galan:
