Carlos Condit (30-8) och Nick Diaz (26-9-0-2) möttes på UFC 143 där Condit vann ett enhälligt domslut efter fem ronder och nu delar Condit med sig av sina tankar kring en rematch.
Matchen mellan Condit och Diaz var en ganska kontroversiell match där många tyckte att Diaz hade gjort tillräckligt för att vinna. Condit berättar att en rematch mot Diaz skulle vara en tuff match och ifall han vinner bältet så vill han gå match mot fighters som han har förlorat mot.

”Fighting Nick Diaz comes with a lot of other stuff,” sa Condit. ”There’s the fight it and of itself. Hey, it’s a tough fight. It’s a tough guy to game plan against and to fight. But the fans and the social media aspect, all of that. I’d have to get my head right for that. Of course I’m not looking past Robbie Lawler, but if I get this belt, I’d like to avenge a couple losses to the next couple of guys who you mentioned earlier, [Johny] Hendricks and [Tyron] Woodley.”
Condit berättar att han har sagt i intervjuer förut att han har gått med på en rematch mot Diaz.
”I’ve said it in interviews in the past, I’ve agreed to that rematch a couple times. I don’t know if he’s ever coming back.”
