Mariusz Pudzianowski (9-4-1) har vunnit Världens Starkaste Man-tävlingen fem gånger och debuterade som MMA-fighter för sju år sedan på KSW 12 och nu berättar mellanviktsmästaren i KSW, Mamed Khalidov (31-4-2) om Pudzianowskis utveckling.

När Pudzianowski först skulle debutera i MMA, var det många som skrattade åt den idén och åt hans första MMA-matcher. Khalidov berättar att man ska ha i åtanke på vad Pudzianowski har gjort för sporten, att det var han som drog in alla fans att titta på KSW.
”If we talk about Mariusz, first everyone laughed – oh, strongman, and so on. But it should be noted that he has done a lot for this sport. He is a five-time world champion strongman sports. Everyone was interested to see how he fights, and this is how he drew all his fans – all these grandparents were now watching KSW.”
Khalidov medger att Pudzianowskis prestationer i början av hans MMA-karriär inte var särskilt imponerande, men berättar att han tycker att han har utvecklats till en komplett MMA-fighter.
”At the beginning, he was not a spectacular fighter or a specialist. It looked like a brawl in a disco. But he still did his job – he attracted new fans, these people who followed him were now watching our sport. Today Mariusz is a complete MMA fighter. I think that it turned out well.”
