Thomas Almeida (19-0) kommer senast ifrån en KO-vinst över Brad Pickett (24-11) på UFC 189 på och har nu en ny motståndare i sikte.
Almeida vill helst inte möta en Brasiliansk fighter i Sao Paolo, utan tycker att en match mot Bryan Caraway (20-7) skulle bli en bra fight och ge Almeida mer uppmärksamhet då Caraway redan har en del media över sig.

”Whoever the UFC puts in front of me, that’s who I’ll fight,” berättade Almeida. ”There’s nowhere to run now, I’m in the top 10. If I could choose, I wouldn’t want to fight a Brazilian, I’d rather fight a foreigner, especially if it’s here in Sao Paulo. I would like to fight here on November 7. I told the UFC I’d be ready for any event, but it would be really nice if I could fight here at home.”
”I think Bryan Caraway would be a cool fight. He’s Miesha Tate’s boyfriend or husband, I don’t know. So there’s already some interest from the media. I think that would get me more attention. Especially if it happens here in Sao Paulo. It would be cool to fight him.”
