Cejudo: I wonder if they’re after me due to the whole backing up Nick Diaz… The whole Nevada Athletic Commission… I don’t know if they still have it our for me but…
Helwani: Do you think… are you uncomfortable there? Do you think they still have it out for you?
Cejudo: Now I do. I definitely do want to fight Joe (Benavidez) eventually again but I want to fight him in Vegas. I’m extremely cautious about it now. At first I was like: ’Damn, is this really happening?’. Specially when I heard the score card 30-26. I’m just like ’What?!’.
Cejudo: You know it’s bad when uncle White calls you to apologize.
Helwani: When did that happened?
Cejudo: It happened yesterday. I sent him (White) a text and said ’thank you for the opportunity, I fought like a warrior last night and I hoped it was entertaining’. He called me literally like two seconds right after I sent the text message to him like ’listen Henry, I apologize, I’m sincerely sorry. You won that fight. Everybody that I talked to, Sean Shelby said you won the fight. I was ringside, there’s not one person in that arena that didn’t think you won that fight.’ sade Cejudo till Helwani under The MMA Hour.
