Valerie Letourneau (7-3) kommer ta sig an Maryna Moroz (6-0) på UFC Fight Night 74, men Letourneau är inte imponerad av det hon sett av Moroz.
Letourneau förklarar att hon inte är imponerad av Moroz för att Moroz inte har något som inte Letourneau redan tagit sig igenom.

“Not impressed – she doesn’t have anything that I’ve never been through before,” berättade Letourneau. “I always fought tough opponents. You look at Claudia Gadelha, Sarah Kaufman, Alexis Davis – I mean, that’s all experience that I have that no one is going to take away from me.”
“I’m not impressed. I know her strengths, I know her weakness and I’m going to use it.”
Letourneau började som bantamviktare i UFC och gjorde sin stråviktsdebut mot Jessica Rakoczy (1-5-1), men menar att viktnedgången inför hennes stråviktsdebut var riktigt jobbig.
“Right now it feels great; we’ll see the day when I’m cutting the rest of the weight how it feels, but it should be better,” sa Letourneau. “I just had really bad timing also in Montreal, for a girl, I was starting my period exactly at the weigh-in – that’s the worst timing. Not to complain or give any reasons, but that’s seriously the worst time to cut water.”
Moroz är favoriten i deras match och det förvånar inte Letourneau då Moroz vann mot storfavoriten Joanne Calderwood (10-1) i sin senaste match.
“I’m not surprised (she’s the favorite), especially because she beat ‘JoJo’ so quick,”sa Letourneau. “I’m a fighter. I analyze the fight differently from the crowd. I know ‘JoJo’ wasn’t at her best, that’s for sure. You can tell even before the fight starts. Not to take anything away from this girl, but I would love to see that fight again. It would be a different result.”
Letourneau tror att det blir en stående match och tycker att Moroz har bra boxning trots att hon inte hann visa så mycket av den i sin match mot Calderwood.
“I like stand-up, so it’s probably going to be a stand-up war,”sa Letourneau. “She has good stand-up too. She didn’t show it that much (in her UFC debut) because it was short fight, but you can tell she has good hands and will exchange. I would love to finish the fight quick, we always want that.”
